Henry Innes Charles Barnfield was born on Tuesday 15th June 1999.

This website is a tribute to our son.

On Tuesday 8th February 2005, Henry was diagnosed with a Diffused Intrinsic Pontine Glioma, Grade 4. This is a severe brain tumor that is inoperable and incurable. He was given weeks to live. After a course of very difficult radiotherapy Henry showed a great deal of courage and strength. He recovered enough to continue life in a pretty normal fashion.

Henry passed away on Sunday 25th December 2005.

The SDBTT (Brain Tumor Trust) were a great help to us and through them we have started this charity. The charity aims to raise funds and awareness for research into pediatric brain tumors. For more details please visit the main website at
